  • Bread – either a day old french loaf or texas toast cut into pieces.
  • Fruit
  • Cinnamon Syrup
  • Eggs
  • Milk

How To Make And Bake

To make this quick and easy, school morning or holiday breakfast, start with your bread that is either Texas toast (thick cut) or day old French bread. Cut your bread into 1 in” pieces and put into a large bowl or a buttered 8″x8″ or 9″x13″ pan. If you’ve don’t already have a set of casserole dishes, this ceramic set is my favorite! With the 4 size options, it provides a beautiful display of matching dishes for any dinner or party display!

In another bowl, place your milk, eggs, syrup and fruit and mix well. Pour over your bread pieces and let sit for at least 30 minutes or overnight, making sure all the pieces are submerged. Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes, or until toasted on top. Serve hot with powdered sugar sprinkled on top and enjoy!

Making The Fruity French Toast Bake

  1. Cut your bread slices into 1 in" square pieces and place into a 9x13" or 8x8" buttered baking dish.

  2. In another bowl, mix together your fruity milk and eggs. ( If using frozen fruit, thaw out first) Pour over bread and allow to absorb all the liquid for about 30 minutes.

  3. Pop into a preheated oven to bake for 30-35 minutes. Serve with powdered sugar on top and enjoy!
